Where our pianos come from
Our workshop is at 2940 Main St. in Buffalo, and every restoration happens there. What changes from place to place is how the instrument reaches us.
Across Buffalo and Western New York we do the lot: tuning, regulation, small repairs, moving and full restoration, in your home or in our shop. Outside that area we take on major repair work and full restorations only, with the piano coming to Buffalo for it. We do not travel to other cities for tuning or minor repairs, and we would rather say so than sell you a long-distance callout.
Getting the instrument here is our problem, not yours. Our own truck covers Buffalo and Western New York. Beyond that range we facilitate the move with our partner piano movers and coordinate the whole job, so you deal with one company from the first phone call to the piano coming back through your door.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you come to my city for tuning or a small repair?
Only in Buffalo and Western New York. Everywhere else we take on major repair work and full restorations, with the piano coming to our shop for it. For a tuning or a minor adjustment you want a good technician near you, and we will say so rather than quote you for the travel.
How does the piano get to Buffalo and back?
Our own crews and our own specially designed truck handle everything within Buffalo and Western New York. Beyond that range we facilitate the move with our partner piano movers and coordinate it end to end, so you are not booking freight yourself. More about our moving service.
My city is not on the map. Does that mean no?
Not at all. The map shows where we work most often, not a boundary. A full rebuild occupies the shop for months, so transport is a small share of the cost almost anywhere in the eastern half of the country. Call 716-832-0013 and ask.
How long will my piano be away?
A full restoration is measured in months, because stripping, refinishing, restringing and action work each need time to cure and settle before the next stage. You get a realistic schedule with the written quote, so you can plan around it.
Do you work with schools, churches and concert halls outside Buffalo?
Regularly. Rebuilding pianos for schools is one of our specialities, and our reference list runs from local districts to Carnegie Mellon University and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. For institutions we can phase work across several instruments so a music department is never left without a usable piano.
